Rigid Inflatable Boats
Flexiteek decking is very suitable for Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) because:
RIBs experience rough treatment with a lot of wear from sand and salt water. Flexiteek bends and flexes easily and thus follows the shape of the curved bottom of the boat. Flat panels without margin boards can quickly be cut and glued to the actual RIB. Tenders for large yachts look new, neat and clean when they pick up guests ashore. Old RIBs can have a smarter and better look with a retrofit Flexiteek deck.

Special applications Spa
Flexiteek has worked on a project for a large spa in the Adriatic region. They asked us to produce sheets of Flexiteek without the black caulking line between the strips of Flexiteek. An area of 350 sqm of Flexiteek decking was required. Our factory in Fagersta, Sweden provided such a solution. The innovative new decking was installed at the spa in January 2003.

Flexiteek Decking for Medical Offices
Architects have suggested to use the non–skid properties of Flexiteek decking in medical offices. Doctors in private clinics and hospitals spend a lot of funds on insurances to protect themselves from liabilities of patients slipping and falling on wet floors on their premises.

Interior Boat Flooring
New boats can have a lighter interior using Flexiteek flooring with either white or black caulking. Dehler 47 – a new sailboat delivered in the spring of 2003 to a Norwegian owner has internal Flexiteek flooring. Old boats can have old and smelly carpets removed and use Flexiteek decking as a replacement/refit.

Onboard Bathrooms
Flexiteek is doing an innovative product development with a well known British boatbuilder intending to use Flexiteek in the bathrooms of their powerboats. A new large model from Sea Ray as well as the Dutch Jetton (pictured) is equipped with Flexiteek flooring in the onboard bathroom.

  Private floating Luxury Pontoon
A major producer of pontoons, Orsta Staal Norway has made a deluxe version complete with our synthetic Flexiteek decking. Wooden decking close to seawater and wash from other boats will in the end always become a problem.

Waterproof the flat Roof of your House
Architects have suggested to use Flexiteek decking as a waterproof element around areas prone to leakage, around drains and pipes on flat roofs.

Flexiteek Decking in Charter Pontoon River Boat
Flexiteek Decking has installed an area inside a 100 passenger charter river boat owned by Trident Pontoons, Florida.

TNT Lift Systems
TNT Lift Systems in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is offering hydraulic bathing platforms to yachts and large powerboats. They also use Flexiteek Decking.
