Teak alternatives at METS

On the Flexiteek stand we were approached by several journalists with environmental concerns high on the agenda. With the 2007 Nobel prize aimed at environmental stewardship, especially the Norwegian reporters made the rain forest a key issue. An article from the sailing journal "Seilas" discussed the teak alternatives and also indicated that teak cost is rising sharply, and that quality teak might be unavailable in a few years time.
