The decking has been produced with the needs of the ferry and cruise industry in mind, but it has also been applied by several leisure boat manufacturers both as "teak" in the cockpit and also on deck.

In reality this product is produced by Norwegians, whereas Flexiteek International AS is headquartered in Oslo, while the actual production takes place in England.
