Flexiteek International Launches Refreshed Brand Identity, New Website and Webshop

High-performance decking manufacturer, Flexiteek, launches refreshed brand identity, new global website and webshop.

Flexiteek, makers of the world’s leading synthetic teak boat decking ‘Flexiteek2G’ and marine products celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2020.

The company worked on its Marketing, Brand and Digital Strategy with the Fellowship Agency during 2020 after working closely with the company for a number of years. Flexiteek’s refreshed brand identity, a new global website and webshop marks the 20th anniversary milestone.

‘The new website features an interactive deck designer. Boatbuilders and owners can visualise over 30 different colour combinations on a range of boats’ said Jason Shirley, Flexiteek’s newly appointed Marketing and Brand Manager.

‘The new website allows each customer type to follow their journey, looking at examples of how Flexiteek2G looks on every kind of boat from tenders to superyachts’

Specified by over 200 boat builders worldwide, the new webshop allows all of its synthetic teak decking and marine products to be viewed and purchased in one place by its global distributor network.

Tomas Gustafsson, Flexiteek’s President and CEO said ‘2021 is an exciting year for Flexiteek. We are looking to build on 20 years of serving customers in over 48 countries around the world.’

About Flexiteek International:

We founded Flexiteek in 2000, with the aim of revolutionising the traditional decking market. By extruding ‘planks’ out of PVC, we have created an innovative product that looks every bit as beautiful as teak. It also offers significant performance advantages.

Our owner, Anders Wilhelmsen Sr, is an entrepreneurial Norwegian with a strong heritage in shipping. We have drawn upon this maritime heritage and knowledge to inspire our products. We understand, and have responded to, the exacting demands of leading boatbuilders.

After two years in development, the introduction of Flexiteek 2G set a new benchmark for upmarket alternatives to teak. Specifically by solving the previous problem of getting too hot underfoot.
