Flexiteek at 17,600 feet

Jeff Davies is the President of World Panel Products, and our American Flexiteek distributor. He is also the man who has set himself the challenge of trekking to Everest Base Camp in April 2022.

Jeff Davies and Richard Slinkman, from Miami, will be trekking to the Everest Base Camp this Spring in order to raise £3,694 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The children’s charity treats and defeats childhood cancer in addition to other life-threatening diseases. Although, unlike any other hospital, the majority of its funding comes from individual contributions. And thanks to generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude.

Close friend of Jeff Davies, Richard Slinkman will accompany Jeff on the 40-mile hike to the Everest base camp from world-famous Lukla airport.

The trek will be both a mental and physical test for the pair with an increasing elevation of 400 – 800 metres a day. Their destination, Everest Base Camp sits at over 5000 metres above sea level.

The base camp which sits in the shadow of the world’s highest mountain provides a once in a lifetime experience, with panoramic views of the might Himalayan range.
