Each year, over the course of boot D\u00fcsseldorf<\/a>, the European Yacht of the Year (EYOTY), European Powerboat of the Year (EPOTY) are presented, in addition to the Motor Boat Awards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These prestigious awards recognise excellence in design, innovation, build quality, performance, functionality and value for money, while also highlighting the best new boats launched that year. Five boats from each category were nominated, with each category defined by boat type and size. This approach ensured a fair and balanced comparison across a wide range of vessels. While also highlighting the very best examples within each class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Motor Yachts (up to 24m)<\/strong> – De Antonio D60 – Winner<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The winner of the Motor Yachts (up to 24m) category in 2026 was the De Antonio<\/a> D60. This year’s European Yacht of the Year Awards, 21 yachts were shortlisted, marking the largest selection in years. Each yacht was tested by 12 international journalists, ensuring a thorough assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner of the Best Sportscruiser over 45ft category in 2026 was the Pardo GT75. It combines the sociable feel of a walkaround with the shelter and cruising assurance of a pilothouse design. The winner of the Best Family Cruiser up to 45ft went to the Norway-designed and built Viknes <\/a>10. In particular, this boat was designed to provide the most for the users at the best value. As a result, a 10.6m specced out boat that featured a drop-down curtain system, massive sunroofs, and a spacious cockpit is available at a more affordable price. With a history of working with Flexiteek synthetic decking on other models, the Viknes 10 is also available fitted with Flexiteek. Providing low-maintenance features and the ability to be cleaned with just water, enabling more time on the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
