For some participants, this is a familiar challenge, while for others it\u2019s the very first time they\u2019ll attempt a ride of this distance. With determination, team spirit, and community support, it promises to be an exciting and inspiring day for everyone involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why does This Ride matter?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The London to Brighton cycle is more than just a test of endurance. For FACT, it\u2019s an opportunity to raise vital funds for its bursary programme, ensuring that over 2,500 children and young people each year can experience unforgettable adventures on the Essex coast. From sailing and kayaking to climbing and team-building, FACT provides life-changing opportunities that nurture confidence, teamwork, and personal growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, including Flexiteek International Ltd, FACT\u2019s riders will be wearing custom Kalas jerseys, allowing every penny raised through sponsorship and donations to go directly toward supporting young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Fellowship Afloat?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>FACT is unlike most other charities, based on a converted lightvessel moored on the Essex coast, it offers a truly unique setting for young people to connect, learn, and thrive. The charity\u2019s story began in 1965, inspired by a summer camp for young leaders.
