About Us
Over 25 Years of Innovation
Flexiteek was founded in 2000 by Anders Wilhelmsen at Watrium to transform the decking market. He drew on his maritime and shipping background to achieve this.
The Flexiteek Group is now headquartered in Essex, England, with core hubs spanning another three countries. Alongside a worldwide distributor and agent network, this ensures assistance, installation, and all of Flexiteek’s products are available globally.
Global Headquarters
Flexiteek International Ltd
Our UK production location also supports our global sales, warehousing, marketing, and accounts functions. Our location in Tollesbury, Essex, started production in 1973 as Wilks, later joining Flexiteek Group in 2019.
The entire range of fifteen different colour options, trims, and the extensive Wilks fendering product range are manufactured at this location.
Flexiteek Sweden
Flexiteek International AB (FIAB)
Based in Fagersta, in Sweden, Flexiteek Sweden is a fully owned subsidiary of Flexiteek International AS. It coordinates material development, panel fabrication for OEMs, installation, and supports our global training process.
The plant was first established in 2001, and production began early in 2002. In early 2024, the production facility relocated to a state-of-the-art new building in Fagersta with solar panels, EV chargers, and ground source heat pumps to help make this our most sustainable global location.
Flexiteek Poland
Flexiteek Marine Products Sp Z.O.O.
Based in Ostróda, in Poland, Flexiteek Marine Products (FMP) is our central European core fabrication hub for Flexiteek products.
Established in 2021, the factory stands in the middle of a prime maritime production area, enabling key links to market-leading boat builders and OEMs. The team has a wealth of experience fabricating decks for a wide range of Boat Builders and OEM’s.
Flexiteek USA
Flexiteek USA (FUSA)
Started in early 2025 and based in Lake Park, Florida, our newest global location has opened to reposition Flexiteek within the competitive US market.
The team, headed by experienced marine sector professional Chad Adams, is well placed to build on the growing network across the US and further cement our relationships with key US OEMs.
Flexiteek International AS
Holding Company
Based in Norway, Flexiteek International AS is the holding company of the Flexiteek group and owner of all international Flexiteek patents and trademarks. Flexiteek has patents for Europe (EU), the USA, Canada, China, South Korea, South Africa, and Australia.
