Weighing only 4.5kg per m², with our standard 5mm thick option, it’s up to 35% lighter than comparable synthetic options, helping reduce topside weight and lower the centre of gravity.

All decking materials absorb heat, but managing that heat is key to onboard comfort and performance. To verify this, we commissioned independent thermal testing on Flexiteek 3.

The results confirm that Flexiteek 3 dissipates heat up to 30% faster than comparable composite and PVC-based decks.

This faster cooling rate not only improves comfort underfoot but also reflects our continued development of advanced materials that outperform first-generation, fossil fuel-based PVC decking technologies that can be up to 25 years old.

Flexiteek 3 supports sustainability commitments while maintaining the look and luxury your customers expect. There is zero compromise on the detailed graining and colour of our decks, but we’ve reduced the greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% when compared to other fossil-fuel-based PVC decking options.

Our bio-attributed PVC is made using Tall tree oil, which replaces the fossil-fuel PVC. This new technology was developed from surplus wood harvesting from managed forestry sources used for furniture and construction. This timber surplus is pulped and the resin produced is what makes Flexiteek 3 highly unique.

In addition to working more responsibly in our production processes we have also been making donations to World Land Trust to support tree planting in areas of deforestation. So far, we’ve planted more than 50,000 trees. This long-term commitment has been popular with boat owners.
