Flexiteek Funds the Planting of Over 2,300 Trees This Quarter
Flexiteek International has funded 2,323 trees in just 3 months, from January 1st to March 31st, in partnership with the World Land Trust (WLT) and its Plant a Tree Programme.
This collaboration was first announced in 2020 in celebration of Flexiteek’s 20th anniversary. The environmental pledge made was to donate £5 for every 10m² of Flexiteek synthetic teak sold worldwide. This pledge has continued over the past five years and has now resulted in a staggering 45,000 trees being planted.

World Land Trust
WLT is a charity organisation that partners with local environmental groups to collect, plant, and care for tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf trees, particularly in regions heavily impacted by deforestation.
In Brazil, the supported area is the Atlantic Forest, often described as the most threatened forest region in the world. It’s now down to just 7% of its original size. The forest is home to an incredible range of wildlife, including many vulnerable and endangered species like the Southern Woolly Spider Monkey.
In India, the project supports the D’ering-Dibru Saikhowa Elephant Corridor. This land helps endangered Asian Elephants and other animals – including tigers and wild buffalo – move safely between protected areas. It reduces human-wildlife conflict and helps protect species by improving genetic diversity and long-term survival.
FLEXITEEK
At Flexiteek, we’re committed to doing our part for the environment, especially as deforestation and climate change remain major global challenges. We’re proud to keep supporting the World Land Trust’s important work; furthermore, we’re grateful to everyone involved in making this happen.
We look forward to continuing our partnership and making a positive impact, one tree at a time.
