Flexiteek Company Information: Flexiteek Group Logo

Established in 2000, Flexiteek is the original, market leading manufacturer of synthetic teak decking. The company is owned by an entrepreneurial Norwegian with a strong heritage in shipping, which informs and inspires our products.

We aim to produce the world’s most desirable decking and marine products, as sustainably as possible. We nurture long term, personal relationships with our partners and strive for complete customer satisfaction.

Flexiteek International’s global activities, including relationships with over 50 distributors worldwide, are overseen from our head office in Sweden.

In September 2019, Flexiteek International acquired leading UK based decking and marine fendering manufacturer, Wilks. Flexiteek products are manufactured in the UK and Sweden.

Flexiteek International AS

This is the holding company of the Flexiteek group and owner of all international Flexiteek patents and trademarks. Flexiteek has patents for Europe (EU), USA, Canada, China, South Korea, South Africa and Australia.

The owners, board members and management have considerable experience from multinational organisations, quality assurance, boat building, international marketing and cruise ship operations.

Flexiteek International AB (FIAB)

Based in Fagersta, Sweden, FIAB is a fully owned subsidiary of Flexiteek International AS. It co-ordinates all Flexiteek companies and distributors, and oversees material development, installation, training and quality control.

The manufacturing plant was set up here in 2001 and production began early in 2002. A Flexiteek Service Centre in the UK contributes to designs and handles any claims.

FLEXITEEK INTERNATIONAL Ltd (Formally Wilks)

In 2023 Wilks changed its company name to Flexiteek International Ltd. The Wilks fendering brand remains a market leading product brand. First established in 1973, Wilks was a family run company before joining Flexiteek in 2019. Specialising in the manufacture and supply of PVC, aluminium and rubber extrusions, Wilks marine fendering and shopfitting buffer systems tackle problems such as preventing damage to yachts and to supermarket checkouts.

With in-house tooling facilities, Wilks can produce individually bespoke designs. These are backed up by exceptional standards of service and support, from product development, through to manufacture and distribution.
