We started working with Flexiteek back in 2013 so getting on for 10 years of using it now. The first boat we used it on sat in Spain for 9 years and is now back with us and the deck is still in very good condition.
Dale Sailing was founded in 1961 and began as a family run business. Each boat is individually tailored to the customers taste so that every detail is a perfect match. The deep connection with the sea, tradition and craftsmanship and the importance of family and family values underpins the buinsess.
We’d never have considered it previously as we build traditional and classic boats and everyone comments on our craftsmanship and quality of our woodwork but seeing the samples of how authentic it looked we decided to try it and haven’t looked back.

We’d never have considered it previously as we build traditional and classic boats and everyone comments on our craftsmanship and quality of our woodwork but seeing the samples of how authentic it looked we decided to try it and haven’t looked back. We haven’t done a teak deck since and are now using it for all the external capping’s.

Just it’s overall appearance with the flecks of different colours running through it which makes it look like its not man made. We also value the range of colours, and being able to add grain and also being able to weld it together to make thicker looking sections which add a quality to the overall look.

They love it, the ease of maintenance, it’s pretty much a fit and forget type product.

At the moment we are using it on our Dale Classic 37, our Dale 40 and also for the first time on a Dale Classic 45.
