Product Overview

Flexiteek is the most practical alternative to high quality teak decking. Flexiteek is available in three different categories; Flexiteek weld profile for high strength professional installations, Flexiteek glue/weld profile for many types of quality installations, and the new Isiteek for do-it-yourself installations. Flexiteek continues to clean easily and look like a newly laid teak deck. Its non–slip quality is superb and nobody yet on first viewing or touching think it is anything other than real teak. The deck will not go grey, dry out or split or crack and requires minimal maintenance.

Flexiteek is sandable with individual graining.
Result is natural looking and the feel is realistic.
The deck is stain proof and easily washed, even with a powerwash.

Flexiteek comes as flexible synthetic planking of continuous length, with integral caulking strip in black or white and slightly larger border planking. The planking is curved by rising its temperature slightly. A sunny day is sufficient, with tighter bends being induced with a hot airgun. Flexiteek then takes up and sets in its new shape. No drilling of holes is needed. It is installed per laying instructions and forms a complete water tight seal.

Flexiteek is sold as complete panels to boat manufacturers. Tailor-made panels are shipped to the factory or yard. Flexiteek is sold precut to specification without border panels and is also supplied in a coil. The yard or distributor/installer carry out the preparations, cutting of panels, and gluing the panels to the deck. Do-it-yourself installations can be performed with our new Isiteek material, although this requires some skills to ensure the desired quality and good looks.

Flexiteek material is supplied from manufacturers in Sweden (weld profile) or UK (glue/weld profile and Isiteek). All types of Flexiteek materials can be ordered from Flexiteek Production Sverige AB through our global distributor network.

The vendor guarantees the Flexiteek material for the first 5 (five) years from the date of purchase. During the guarantee period the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship and will not split, crack, peel or rot. This vendor liability covers only material changes which arise under the working conditions assumed in the contract, and that the material has not been exposed to aggresive chemicals, acid washes or extreme heat. Any guarantee related to the installation of Flexiteek will be carried by the installer and is not part of the material guarantee.

Pre-made (weld profile) sheets are delivered in the following dimensions, with integral 5 mm black caulking 45 and 60 mm, and 7 mm caulking 103 mm:
